Now JLD is starring in a “Veep” reunion and script reading.
In “Veep Uncut,” hosted by Stephen Colbert, the cast will gather virtually for a table read of the Emmy-nominated episode “Mother.” (Season five, episode four, which aired in 2016). The event will be livestreamed once at 8 p.m. ET Sunday, Dec. 6.
Joining Louis-Dreyfus will be Tony Hale, Anna Chlumsky, Reid Scott, Matt Walsh, Sam Richardson, Timothy Simons, Kevin Dunn, Gary Cole, Sarah Sutherland, Clea DuVall, Kathy Najimy, Sufe Bradshaw, Dan Bakkedahl, Nelson Franklin, Lennon Parham, Lauren Bowles, David Pasquesi, Usman Ally, Sarayu Blue, Matt Oberg, and David Mandel.Julia Louis-Dreyfus

This episode of the acclaimed HBO comedy was partially set at a New Jersey wind farm, where Louis-Dreyfus’ character, Selina Meyer, addresses a crowd. It’s there that her assistant, Gary, finds out her mother has had a stroke. Selina has not had the greatest relationship with her mother.
“Veep” premiered in 2012 and bowed in 2019. Louis-Dreyfus won six consecutive Emmys for playing Selina Meyer.
The “Seinfeld” reunion raised money for the Texas Democratic Party. The “Veep” reunion and script reading will benefit America Votes, a group supporting those working to turn out the Democratic vote in Georgia for the Senate runoff elections in January.Julia Louis-Dreyfus
